| Debra, I have been intending to write for some time now but things keep coming up. Flight is 14 months old now and has grown
into a magnificent dog. We just love him! He has the complete run of the back yard and for that matter the
house, but he doesn't abuse it. Every morning at 0530 he comes to my side of the bed to get me
up. We are out running by 0550. We go for about 4 miles and it is a great time for both of us. Flight has grown into quite a young man. He hits the scales at about 70lbs. and is strong but also very gentle.
Everyone is his friend and I don't think he has a mean bone in his body. He loves the grandchildren and knows that
he must be gentle with them. He is always in the mix of things!! Out of the nine collies I have had
I rate him as the best. His appearance, his gate, his smarts, and the way he handles himself says to everyone,
"here is a dog with confidence and who knows he is prince!" Thanks again for breeding
the way you do. When I get time I will send pictures. I am still working on his ears! (ha) I thought I had
them but like you said, "all of a sudden one will stand up." I think a little more work and I will have them. Thanks for the information you send. Collies are the only way to go!!!!!! Gary

he, I swear he understands what is going on. Basketball is his favorite!! (ha) I find it impossible
to get upset with him, he just has me laughing all the time. What a buddy!!! Gary

Hi Debra, I wanted to send you some updated photos of our
new baby. We brought her home and my step daughter named her Wrigley for Wrigley Field, and I got to choose her middle
name, so her official name will be Honey Tree Wrigley Rose. (Rose after her Mom Cashmere Rose) :) She has made herself at home here and is absolutely the cutest puppy
in the world. We took her to PetsMart yesterday to get her a nametag made and her first official vet appt is tomorrow.
She is so happy and plays hard, then crashes and sleeps hard. She is sleeping at my feet under my desk like my beloved
Bella did and it just makes me so happy. We are working on potty training, and she does real good during the day.
We have an accident almost every night, so I'm going to set my alarm around 3 am and take her out and I think that will
fix that. Once she gets a little older, she'll be able to hold it all night. Our family was mourning the loss
of Bella so much, and then Wrigley came into our lives and our house is full of laughter and joy again. She means the
world to us. We will keep you updated on her progress. She is going to be such a Regal dog. She holds her
head up high and looks like she is ready to take on the world! I feel so blessed to have stumbled upon your website.
Thank you so much for all your help and for this beautiful little girl. Talk to you soon! Michelle

Debra,
I agree with you completely. In my opinion, and coming
from the ownership not the breeder or seller side, the litter of 4-22-2008 is a special litter. Correspondence
from Gary, Flights “dog father”, visiting with Grant and Her Majesty last fall and living with Finn – that
litter produced LOVE. Dan has said many times that he has never ever had a dog 1- So smart 2- So beautiful and 3- So full
of love. And he has owned a few (6) collies in is life. So it is absolutely the MOST important quality/strength/asset
of the potential owner of Honest Grant to understand “collie love”. In other words the new owner must show
and deliver 110% unconditional love 24/7. And they better be ready and make time for a dog with a 100% love to give
them.
I respect and appreciate beyond words that you are not a breeder that is all about the money. I know that this
is a tough decision for you. If it takes 6 months to find the right family, I know with out a doubt that when Grant
leaves, he will be with the right family.

I
am enjoying my second Father's Day with Henry II ! He is doing very well. He is shedding and is beginning to enjoy being
brushed (he does not like the heat).

Hello. I thought I would drop you a note about Breezy. She is doing great.
Seems like her eye allergy is getting better. She has gone through her beginner obediance class and tied for first place
on a stay with the trainer throwing food in front of them. She and the other dog finally broke at the same time after
about 5 mins. I was so proud of her. Now she is in agility beginner classes. She is the star of the class
and also the only puppy in the class. This is because I started her on some equipment prior to starting class.
So far she will go up an a-frame and is learning to hit the contact zone at the bottom, she knows the tunnel and can go over
the teeter on the lease so she won't just run over it and have it fall too fast and scare her. You have to
take your time with that so they don't get freeked and you have to start over. She goes over low jumps and is learning
how to listen to directionals on that. I really think she is going to be great at it. The attached picture was
taken Saturday out where I work. That is my Missy (sheltie) with her. Breezys favorite thing to do is chase Missy
around. She is so beautiful! Hope things are good there and you are weathering the storms and heat ok.
